Howard Shepherd and I have delved into rather geeky points of grammar in the last two Word Nerds podcasts that we've done together.

We just had an email inquiry about a question raised by our most recent show, on modal verbs. There needs to be a specific and obvious place to talk about such a question, and here it is.

Let's keep our discussion in English so the most people can participate. But feel free to address points of grammar in any language you like. Our server seems, even, to be able to handle non-Latin alphabets.
